Canada Strong

I am prepared for and committed to represent all constituents in Calgary Nose Hill and Albertans who believe in a bright future for our country. I believe in hard work, in getting things done, and have done so all my life.

I am NOT a career politician.  But I DO bring over 30 years working as a professional geologist in the mineral and oil & gas exploration and development industry, throughout Western Canada and internationally.  I know how important the resource industries are to Albertans’ livelihoods and Canada’s economy. 

I was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta. I am a 4th generation Albertan, descending from homesteaders arriving in 1893 and 1902.  Growing up I enjoyed down hill and cross-country skiing.  I started working at an early age, as a paper boy, then onto various student jobs throughout his school years.  From this and my parents influence, as hard-working Albertans, I too have developed a strong work ethic. 

After high school I pursued my childhood dream of working as a geologist in the mineral exploration industry. I completed post secondary education in Edmonton, before moving to Vancouver and ultimately completed 20 summer exploration seasons in the Yukon.  Upon returning to Alberta, I worked a further 19 years as a Professional Geologist in the oil sands and mine exploration/development, across Western Canada and internationally. 

I was the lead on numerous large, complex and remote mineral and oil sands exploration and development projects. I was engaged and dedicated to the collection of project data and cared deeply about the wellness of the entire team and the safe completion of quality site investigations.

I have lived in the Nose Hill electoral district with my wife and two daughters for 20 years. I have experienced firsthand the opportunities and challenges that middle class families face every day and understand the priorities and issues facing Alberta. I will work to support our primary industries and the energy and resource sectors, which are key to the growth of Canada’s economy.

Why not elect a member of parliament who understands and supports resource development. Someone who would be sitting with the party who forms the next government and would push for changes from inside the government. Instead of electing a MP who would be sitting in opposition.

I am excited to work with fellow Albertan, Prime Minister Mark Carney. Helping as he makes his mark on the political stage.  His values and vision are ones I share.  I believe he will complete changes that will make for a stronger Canada.   Mark Carney has demonstrated his strong Alberta work ethic, both domestically and on the world stage. I believe he will accomplish great things for all Canadians. It is time for a strong leader who understands how to create and lead a united country.

Most importantly, I am a husband, father and an Albertan.  My forebears have made the sacrifices and contributions to support the prosperity, freedom, and liberties we enjoy today.  I support a diverse and inclusive society, a place where all can live in peace and harmony.  Our future depends on a united and strong Canada.

This is a CRITICAL ELECTION. Our sovereignty, economy and jobs are at risk.

 I will fight to protect the sovereign futures of our children and grandchildren. 

 I will fight for resource development and to protect the essential programs that are at risk under a Conservative government.

I will fight for Canada and our way of life, everyday.
